Students in the UC Davis Global Achievement Program will live in shared apartments in the city of Davis. The apartments are located in the peaceful college town of Davis close to the campus and on bus and bicycle routes. Most students ride a bicycle in Davis, which is one of the most bicycle friendly towns in the world. Apartments are laid out in traditional college style, typically with two students sharing a bedroom and several students sharing a multi-bedroom apartment.
Apartments will include a kitchen and dining area, enabling students to cook and share meals with friends and roommates. This arrangement is the most common among UC Davis students and provides a great opportunity to meet and socialize with each other.
When you reserve your accommodations you may choose from a variety of campus catering plans. All meals are served in one of the campus dining facilities located conveniently around the UC Davis campus. The campus dining facilities are recently renovated and offer a variety of cuisine choices in a popular buffet-style layout.
Three on-campus meal plan options provide students with the flexibility and convenience of eating on campus. All meal plans roll over from quarter to quarter and may be used at any one of three dining halls—Cuarto, Tercero and Segundo. Meal plans are nonrefundable.
